About the project

Emerald Valley is one of the finest golf courses in the region with a long tradition and a discerning clientele. The existing site no longer matched the quality of the experience on offer, so we designed a completely new digital presence.

The new site puts the course's majestic landscape front and centre — cinematic scroll animations (GSAP) guide the visitor through playing, membership and events. Every section is crafted with a sense of space and premiumness: typography, colour palette and animation pacing all reflect the quiet elegance guests expect from Emerald Valley.

Technically the site is statically generated (Next.js) for instant loading, with optimised images and a lazy-loading hole gallery. Sanity CMS lets the team update content independently, and Resend handles reservations and inquiries. The mobile experience is tailored — animations are simplified for smaller screens, and navigation gives quick access to bookings.

Challenge

A premium golf course with a visually demanding setting — the site needs to transport the beauty of the course into a digital experience without slow loading or complex navigation, while enabling self-serve content management.

Solution

A cinematic web experience with scroll-driven animations (GSAP), optimised full-bleed imagery, Sanity CMS for content editing and Resend for reservation handling — from first glance to booking in a few clicks.

Results

Site traffic increased significantly after the redesign, time on site rose by over 60%. The site became the primary sales channel for memberships and events.
